Ten miles west from Siedlce in Niwiski village there is classicist, brick manor house built in the second half of the eighteenth century for the Ossoliński family.

Initially the house had late baroque features and in all probability mansard roof. The manor house is surrounded by two brick outbuildings and representative entry gate. Ground-floor building was modified in the early nineteenth century. The overall baroque style of the house was changed into classicist which was more in fashion at the time. The roof was remodeled into simpler hipped one and the arcaded portico was added.
Pierwotnie utrzymany w stylu późnobarokowym przykryty był prawdopodobnie mansardowym dachem. W skład zespołu oprócz dworu, wchodzą dwie murowane oficyny i brama wjazdowa. Parterowy budynek uzupełniono w pierwszej ćwierci następnego stulecia trójarkadowym portykiem z trójkątnym szczytem, a następnie zastąpiono dach barokowy, prostym czterospadowym, zmieniając ostatecznie charakter obiektu na klasycystyczny.
Late baroque brick gate from the second half of the eighteenth century leads to the estate. On the front lawn we find the seventeenth century brick pillar decorated with coat of arms reliefs. Next to the gate our attention is drawn by beautifully restored outbuilding covered with mansard roof.
Do posiadłości prowadzi trójosiowa, późnobarokowa brama wjazdowa z 2 połowy XVIII wieku. Na dawnym gazonie znajduje się siedemnastowieczny słup wykonany z piaskowca z głowicą ozdobioną płaskorzeźbami herbów. Obok bramy zwraca uwagę pięknie odnowiona kordegarda przykryta mansardowym dachem.
The manor house is surrounded by eight acres of picturesque park started in the first half of the nineteenth century. The most eye catching part of the grounds is the noteworthy alley. On the other side of the entry gate we can find the remnants of brick farm buildings from the second half of the nineteenth century. Chestnut trees planted along the road lead to the eighteenth century figurine of the Blessed Virgin Mother of God.
Posiadłość otoczona jest parkiem krajobrazowym o powierzchni czterech hektarów założonym w 1 połowie XIX wieku, w którym wyróżnia się okazała aleja.
Nieopodal po drugiej stronie ulicy znajduje się zespół folwarczny z murowanymi budynkami z 2 połowy XIX stulecia. Od bramy prowadzi długa aleja kasztanowa do figury Matki Boskiej z XVIII wieku.
The first owners of the estate were Casimir and Frances Ossoliński, then the heir to Niwiski became their daughter Apolonia Rudzińska, eventually the house was in possession of Kuszel family for the longer time. In 1898 Przanowski family bought out the estate and after them in 1939 Cyzman family. In the late 1920s the estate consisted of over 1500 acres.
Po pierwszych właścicielach, Kazimierzu i Franciszku Ossolińskich dziedziczką majątku była Apolonia Rudzińska z domu Ossolińska, a po niej majątek dziedziczą Kuszlowie. W 1898 Niwiski przechodzą w ręce Przanowskich, a w 1939 Cyzmanów. W końcu lat dwudziestych ubiegłego wieku majątek liczył 730 hektarów.
During the course of communist oppression in Poland the manor house in Niwiski served as kindergarten, post office and the library. At present the new owner is renovating the house and its surroundings.
W czasach niewoli komunistycznej mieściły się we dworze gminne przedszkole, świetlica, poczta, biblioteka itp. Obecnie nowy właściciel prowadzi prace remontowe.
